A Colorful Adventure: Creating 3D Dream Cities

I had an absolute blast creating these 3D cities, and I hope that energy jumps off the screen when you look at them! Each piece was an adventure, where my love for color, architecture, and imagination collided in the best way possible.

When I set out to design these cities, I gave myself permission to let loose, allowing vivid colors and quirky structures to take the lead. Every building, tower, and cloud you see has a personality of its own, with bright pinks, soft blues, and fiery oranges blending together in ways that were just pure fun to explore. Creating these pieces felt like stepping into a playground where rules didn’t matter, and I could let my imagination run wild.

Colors are my playground, and I use them as a way to breathe life into each fantastical world. I’m endlessly inspired by how different shades can change the mood and create entire atmospheres. Whether it’s soft, dreamy pastels or bold, punchy hues, each color decision was a chance to have fun and push boundaries, transforming everyday architectural forms into something magical.

In terms of architecture, I pulled inspiration from just about everywhere: ancient landmarks, futuristic skyscrapers, sci-fi novels, and even those moments when you catch yourself daydreaming about what a city in the clouds might look like. I was like a kid building with blocks—except in this case, the blocks are floating platforms, gravity-defying spires, and whimsical little homes that seem to stretch toward the sky.

One of the best parts of creating these worlds was adding and changing all the little details—like windows, stairs, and tiny, floating elements. But honestly, I didn’t want everything to feel too perfect. It was more about having fun and seeing where things went, so the process was loose and playful. My aim was to make something you can get lost in, with new surprises every time you look.

In the end, I just hope you enjoy looking at these pieces as much as I enjoyed making them. For me, these cities are all about letting the imagination roam free, and I hope they inspire you to do the same. Whether they make you smile, wonder, or just think about what else is possible, that’s what it’s all about.
